基于单程时间的丢包率估计算法

A Packet Loss Rate Estimation Algorithm base on One Trip Time

摘要: 对于无线链路,一部分丢包是由于出错引起,TCP的性能会因为不必要的速度降低(响应出错造成的丢包)而下降。无线网中,可以采用累积方式的显示传输错误通告(Cumulative Explicit Transport Error Notification)机制来提高TCP的性能。本文针对CETEN需要路由器支持这一缺点进行了改进,在接收方估计丢包率。试验仿真结果表明这种方法的有效性。

Abstract: In wireless link, a portion of loss is caused by packet corruption, the TCP performance can suffer due to needless reductions of the sending rate (in response to “packet corruption”).In wireless net, Cumulative Explicit Transport Error Notification Scheme is used to improve the TCP performance. This paper in view of the shortcoming of CETEN(Cumulative Explicit Transport Error Notification)to make the improvement,in receiver side estimate drop rate. The method is showed efficient in experiment.
