基于形态学重构运算的医学图像分割

摘要: 医学图像分割是高层次医学图像理解和解释的前提条件,其目的是通过提取描述对象的特征,把感兴趣对象从周围环境中分离出来。文章在形态学基本运算的基础上,介绍了形态学重构运算和形态学图像分割的基本流程。最后用形态学重构运算对脑部MRI图像进行了分割,试验结果表明,这一方法可成功地将脑髓分割出来。

Abstract: Medical image segmentation is a key factor for medical image comprehending and explaining. Its main aim is to segment the object from the surroundings by describing the feature of the object. Based on basic theories and methods of mathematical morphology, the paper introduced morphological reconstruction operation and basic steps of morphological image segmentation. The experimental results indicated that the morphological reconstruction operation was efficient for brain MRI segmentation, and the methods could segment the brains from other tissue successfully.
