小波系数在织构纹理相似性描述中的应用

摘要: 提出了基于小波子带系数的织构图像纹理相似性描述方法。根据织构图像小波分解后高频子带小波系数分布服从广义高斯分布,采用极大似然估计求出广义高斯分布模型的尺度参数和形状参数,并由其计算两织构图像的Kullback-Leibler距离以衡量织构图像纹理的相似度。由实验结果可知,与小波基和分解层数的选择相比,参照图像的差异对Kullback-Leibler距离曲线的影响较大。从织物图像纹理识别可知,基于Kullback-Leibler距离特征的识别结果优于其他距离特征。提出的纹理相似性描述算法对其他类型的纹理具有通用性。

Abstract: In this paper,the texture similarity description of fabric structure image based on wavelet subband coefficients is presented.The Kullback-Leibler distance is computed to measure the texture similarity of fabric structure images using the scale parameter and shape parameter of the generalized Gaussian density,according to the fact that the subband histogram is fitted well using generalized Gaussian density.From the experiment results,note that the image of reference has a more significant effect on the curve of the Kullback-Leibler distance compared with the difference of wavelet base and decomposition level.Experimental results on 90 fabric texture image indicate that higher identification accuracy is gotten based on Kullback-Leibler distance compared with traditional approaches.The algorithms proposed in this paper can be applied to other kind’s texture.
