Abstract: Realizing QoS routing is crucial to guarantee effective transportation of multimedia service for mobile Ad Hoc networks.However，few QoS routing protocols consider the issue of energy conversation.Hence，a QoS routing protocol based on energy control was proposed.Its energy conservation scheme introduced idea of cross-layer both at MAC and network layer and comprehensively considered the transmission power as well as residual energy of mobile nodes.Simulation results show that such protocol remarkably decreases energy consumption and will provide an effective solution for persistent transportation of multimedia service.
