Energy-efficient node deployment strategy for band-type wireless sensor networks

摘要: 带状无线传感器网络具有特殊的拓扑结构,满足很多重要领域的应用需求。针对带状网络中的能量消耗不均衡问题,分析了带状无线传感器网络在多跳通信时的拓扑结构和能耗模型,在对带状网络进行分簇的基础上,提出一种非均匀的节点部署策略,该策略量化了带状传感器网络中簇内节点的数目关系,并设计了相应的路由协议。仿真结果表明,非均匀的节点部署策略可以缓解带状网络的能量空洞问题,使网络能耗趋于均衡,延长整个网络的生命周期。

Abstract: Band-type wireless sensor networks have special topology structure and meet the needs of many important areas. In order to address the issue of the energy consumption unbalance in band-type wireless sensor networks, this paper analyzes the topology structure and energy consumption model of band-type wireless sensor networks in multi-hop communication, on the basis of band-type network clustering, this paper proposes a non-uniform node deployment strategy that quantifies the number of nodes in different clusters in a band-type wireless sensor network and designs the corresponding routing protocol. The simulation results show that the non-uniform node deployment strategy can alleviate the energy hole problem in the band-type network, in addition, the network energy consumption tends to be balanced and the life cycle of the whole network is extended.
