Abstract: In order to study digital protection method and technology trend on the classical furniture, the local major research results for digital protection have been presented. Through analyzing techniques and methods on digital protection, including data acquisition, data processing, shape module and fashion module, the operation process of classical furniture databases have been evolved. At last, the development direction of classical furniture based on digital protection is pointed out, it provides a reference for perfecting classical furniture protection system and establishing new digital museum.
