Abstract: Considering the limitations of traditional method and the character of Dezert-Smarandache（DSm） theory, this paper presents the angle similarity method based on hyper-power set as the quantitative analysis of similarity measurement of evidence. The method considers evidence as vector to compare the angle cosine for the measurement of conflict between evidence. The new method is able to use in any models of DS and DSm theory. Computer simulations demonstrate the validity and applicability of the rule proposed.
