Research and application of edge detection operator based on mathematical morphology

摘要: 为了更好地提取图像边缘信息并且抑制噪声,根据Canny评价边缘检测性能优劣的三个指标的启示和多结构元思想,对一般数学形态学边缘检测进行两点改进:一是利用复合数学形态学滤波器对图像滤波,二是利用多结构元思想构造多结构元抗噪型数学形态学边缘检测器。同时总结了利用改进的数学形态学边缘检测算法进行边缘检测的步骤。实验结果表明,该方法可以保留更多的边缘信息,一定程度上解决了信噪比和单边缘响应两个性能指标之间的矛盾。最后将其运用到气密性测试中,得到一种新的气密性测试方法。

Abstract: In order to extract image edge information and eliminate noise,according to enlightenment of three indexes to evaluate the merit and inferior of edge detection by Canny and thinking of multiple structuring elements,two improvements are made to the general mathematic morphology edge detection: first,the image is filtered using compound mathematic morphology filter;second,the mathematic morphology edge detection operator with multiple structuring elements and noise elimination is constructed using multiple structuring elements thinking.The steps using this improved mathematic morphology edge detection algorithm are summarized.The experimental result indicates that this method can retain more edge information and resolve the conflict between Signal-to-Noise and single edge response to some extent.Finally,this method is used in the leakage test and a new leakage test method is obtained.
