摘要: 针对高清视频序列帧内预测的编码特点,得出禁用Intra4×4预测模式,使用Intra8×8和Intra16×16模式进行亮度预测,可显著提高编码速度,同时码率和SNR基本不变。基于上述结论,提出一种新的帧内预测快速算法。该算法在帧内预测之前进行预判决,从Intra8×8和Intra16×16中选择一种预测模式,从而减少了算法复杂度。实验结果表明,算法在码率只有少许增加的情况下,编码速度提高了27.8%,SNR值基本不变。

Abstract: By analyzing the intra prediction coding characteristics of HD video sequences,a conclusion that forbidding Intra4×4 mode and using Intra8×8 and Intra16×16 modes in luma prediction can increase the coding rate significantly with almost no bit rate increase and SNR degradation is reached.Based on the conclusion,a new and fast intra prediction algorithm is proposed.This algorithm decreases the computational complexity apparently by importing a pre-decision which chooses a prediction mode between Intra8×8 and Intra16×16 before intra prediction.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can increase 27.8% on average of the total encoding rate,with a slight increase in bit rate and a negligible SNR drop.
