小波融合的乳腺图像增强方法

Mammogram image enhancement based on wavelet fusion

摘要: 针对医学乳腺图像特殊的结构特性和密度特性以及单一的图像增强方法局部和细微细节增强能力不足的缺点,提出了一种既能保留边缘细节信息,同时也能增强乳腺组织和钙化点的新方法。该方法先对原始图像分别进行直方图均衡化增强和高通滤波增强,然后再将这两个增强的图像进行小波分解,最后融合成一幅图像。实验显示,融合后的乳腺图像大大改善了图像的视觉效果,说明了该方法的有效性。

Abstract: This paper studies medical mammogram image special structure charateristic and density characteristic.A single enhancement method has a shortcoming which cause local and details enhance insufficient.This paper adopts histogram equalization method and enhanced high-pass filtering method to enhance respectively mammogram image,and then synthesizes their information by using wavelet method.It is proved that this method gives a better vision,the experimental demonstrates this method effective.
