Abstract: In the development of the mobile communication，location management is one of the most important and the most challengeable problem.The location management is comprised of mobility registration and call delivery.These two mostly refer to accessing and modification to the database for location management，the research of which，at present，focuses on enhancing the distribution of centralized database architecture or enhancing the centrality of distributed database architecture.According to the characteristic of the mobility of the users，it is designed a new database architecture for location management in this paper，which has better performance for most users.
