The adversary can obtain the key by some means, which will cause the security threat to the subsequent authentication. An RFID system key wireless gengeration protocol based on EPC tag is proposed. It encrypts a part of the EPC for communication to prevent the leakage of secret information, introduces the security model about tags and readers to improve the security of communications, keeps the freshness of the communication process by using random numbers in readers and only uses XOR operation to reduce tag’s costs and calculation. The proposed protocol is formally proven by GNY logic. The security analysis and performance analysis show that the protocol conforms to the security model and is able to resist both active attack and passive attack, with high security and low cost advantages. %U http://cea.ceaj.org/EN/10.3778/j.issn.1002-8331.1703-0299
