In Two-tiered Wireless Sensor Networks(TWSN), the existing secure range queries mostly focus on the issues of privacy-preserving and query result integrity verification, but the problem of collusion attacks is less considered. In this paper, the common query model and network model of TWSN are introduced firstly, and then the detailed problem descriptions of privacy-preserving and integrity-protection in TWSN are given. From the perspective of privacy protecting and result integrity verification, the existing secure range query technologies of TWSN are summarized and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed.
