Abstract: Upgrading testing is one of the most important software testing fields. Upgrading path optimization approach is presented based on the analysis of the explosive growth of the number of upgrading path and the increasing cost of testing, and an upgrading testing model is presented accordingly. The testing model is effective in theory and in practice. Some inspirations are given for the design of software upgrading program.

摘要： 软件升级测试是软件测试的重要方面。在分析软件升级路径数目爆炸式增长以及测试成本不断攀升的基础上，提出了一种升级路径优选方法，并在此基础上阐述了一种升级测试模型。理论和实践证明该模型是有效的；基于这种测试模型给出了软件升级架构设计的一些启示。
