螺旋线多维可视化模型及其应用

Abstract: A new visualizing technique for multi-dimensional data is proposed,which effectively integrates the information of typhoon.Based on a cylindrical spiral coordinate system,this visualizing mode for multi-dimensional data utilizes the unique rotation factor and the symmetrical projection feature of spiral line,arranges each dimensional data along cylindrical spiral.The observations obtained during typhoon pearl along Fujian coastal region in 2006 are verified and simulated by the visualized analyzing system.It not only allows users to view real-time computer images,but also gives interactive functions for users to find or analyze dynamic changing factors.The interactive visualization can provide valuable and fast informational service to emergency management,which will also be useful to the research on temporal and spatial distribution and changing character of coastal storm surge.

摘要: 提出一种新的多维数据可视化方法,将风暴潮的多维信息有效结合。该数据表示模型,将多维信息按照空间圆柱螺旋线的方式进行排列,提供用户参与选择的交互窗口,并利用空间螺旋线的重复性和独特的旋转特性,将该螺旋线坐标系上的坐标轴投影到二维平面或三维体上,从而实现多维数据的可视化分析。以2006年福建台风“珍珠”的原始观测数据为例进行测试,实验结果表明,该模型能有效地将风暴潮特性数据表示出来,为应急处理等提供直观、及时的信息服务,同时对进一步的分析提供有力帮助。
