Abstract: Spatial diversity and channel equalization are efficient methods to combat channel fading and eliminate the intersymbol interference. To realize joint optimization of spatial diversity and equalization, the Spatial Diversity Equalization (SDE) algorithm and correlation-based equalizer are carefully compared in this paper. The equivalence of these two algorithms is also proposed and verified by simulations from the Mean Square Error (MSE) point of view. Proper method can be selected according to the application conditions, and either method can approach to the optimum MSE performance.

摘要: 空间分集和信道均衡是对抗信道衰落、消除符号间干扰(ISI)的有效途径,针对空间分集和信道均衡的联合设计问题,详细比较了空间分集均衡算法(SDE)和基于相关的均衡算法(CBE),并从均方误差(MSE)性能界的角度证明了这两者的等效性,计算机仿真的结果验证了该结论。工程实践中可以根据实际条件选取合适的联合分集均衡结构进行设计,无论哪种结构从理论上都能逼近最优的MSE性能。
