Abstract: Vehicle Ad-hoc Network(VANET) routing protocol performance is affected by the traffic volume changing in urban environments. How to effectively analyze the relationship between traffic volume and communication quality is the key to improve routing performance. Based on traffic volume-latency model, a regional real-time traffic awareness routing protocol(LRTWR) is proposed. By setting RSU(Road Side Unit)node at the crossroads, the protocol counts the traffic volume changes within regional scope, and establishes a regional latency model based on it. By choosing the minimum latency path, regional forwarding can be completed using greedy forward and carry forward mechanisms. Experimental results show that in urban environments, this protocol makes Vehicle Ad-hoc Network(VANET) keep low loss probability and end-to-end latency under different traffic scenarios.

摘要: 城市环境下,车载自组网路由协议性能受交通车流量变化的影响,如何有效分析车流量与通信质量的关系是提高路由性能的关键,基于交通流量-时延模型,提出区域实时车流量感知路由协议(LRTWR)。该协议通过在路口设置RSU节点,统计区域范围内车流量变化,并以此建立区域时延模型,选择具有最小时延的传播路径,并通过贪婪转发和携带转发来完成路段内转发。实验结果表明,该协议在城市环境下,使车载自组网在不同交通状况下都能保持较低的丢包率和端到端时延。
