基于二阶锥规划的宽带波束形成器设计

Abstract: Two typical structures for broadband beamformering using FIR filters and rectangular arrays are discussed respectively, their beampattern is deduced and represented by the uniform function. Based on the selection of reference beampattern, mathematical models are established for these pattern synthesis problems and then solved effectively by SOCP(Second-Order Cone Programming) methods. Simulation results suggest that the proposed mathematical models are general in finding weights of constant-beamwidth broadband beamformers, and the SOCP methods make the pattern synthesis problem with flexible constraints solved in a more accurate, convenient and easy way.

摘要: 宽带波束形成器有两种典型的实现方式,分别基于FIR滤波器和基于长方形阵列,将这两种波束形成器的波束响应表达为统一的形式,并根据参考波束的选择情况,为该类波束优化问题的求解建立了数学模型,该数学模型属于二阶锥约束问题,可以用二阶锥规划方法进行求解。仿真结果表明,提出的求解宽带恒定束宽响应波束形成器权系数的数学模型具有通用性,并且把二阶锥规划方法运用到宽带波束形成器优化设计中,其约束控制灵活,问题求解方便,设计结果精确。
