Abstract: A new joint method is proposed to reduce the peak-average power ratio of wavelet packet modulation signals. Base-band signal is coded with low-density parity-check code, and constellation mapping and wavelet packet modulation are gone through. The wavelet packet modulated signal is clipped to reduce the peak-average power ratio, which is transferred to the frequency domain and filtered to restrain the out-of-band radiation and is transferred back to the time domain to be up-converted and transmitte. The simulation outputs indicate that this new joint method is able to reduce the peak-average power ratio and improve the bit error ratio of the system.

摘要: 为了解决小波包调制的峰均功率比过高的问题,提出了一种联合降低峰均功率比的方法。用低密度奇偶校验码对信号进行编码,对编码信号进行星座映射和小波包调制,对得到的小波包调制信号进行限幅以降低信号的峰均功率比,变换到频域进行滤波以减小带外辐射,将信号变换回时域进行上变频传输。仿真结果表明,这种联合方法在降低了PAPR的同时提高了系统的抗噪性能。
