Geographic routing protocol for pseudo three-dimensional wireless sensor networks

伪三维的地理位置无线传感器网络路由算法

Abstract: Considering the WSN mostly deployed on undulating terrain such as hill in practical applications, a pseudo three-
dimensional wireless sensor network geographic routing algorithm has proposed based on the study of geographic routing algorithm and combined with terrain information of WSN deployment environment. In this algorithm, the approximate shortest path between two nodes on undulating terrain is obtained by making use of electronic map. Nodes use the shortest path of the current node and neighbors to the target node on the up-and-down ground instead of the Euclidean distance in the space when they use terrain information to choose the next hop during routing. The simulation result shows that this algorithm can reduce the number of hops during routing effectively compared with the widely used 3D greedy routing algorithm.

摘要: 针对实际应用中传感器网络大多分布在山地丘陵等起伏地势环境下,在研究基于地理位置路由算法的基础上,结合无线传感器网络分布的地势环境,提出了伪三维的地理位置无线传感器网络路由算法。该算法利用电子地图,计算节点间沿起伏地势的近似最短路径,路由过程中根据地理位置信息选择下一跳时,用当前节点和邻居节点到目标节点在起伏地势上的最短路径代替空间欧氏距离。实验仿真证明,与目前使用较多的三维贪婪路由算法相比,该算法能有效减少数据在转发过程中的路由跳数。
