Using weighted parabolic interpolation to zoom images based on an error-amended sharp edge algorithm

基于加权抛物线插值误差补偿算法的图像放大

Abstract: A novel weighted parabolic interpolation algorithm is proposed for image zooming.The proposed algorithm incorporates the error-amended part into the weighted parabolic interpolation algorithm.In order to reduce ringing effects and checkerboard effects,directions of the interpolation points are determined by the sobel operator.The experimental results indicate that the method keeps the information of original images and has an excellent edge-adaptive ability.And it is superior to the traditional algorithms.

摘要: 提出一种基于加权抛物线插值误差补偿的图像放大算法。该算法增加加权抛物线插值的误差补偿项,借助于sobel算子设定插值点的边缘方向,消除由于传统的线性插值造成的振铃现象和棋盘效应,并具有一定的边缘自适应功能。实验结果表明,相对于传统的图像放大算法,该算法不仅能够保留原始图像的基本内容,还能得到更加清晰的边缘信息。
