数字家庭网关上网络QoS算法的研究

Abstract: Home network contains a great variety of digital appliances.Also home multimedia devices have been more and more diversiform and powerful,which make high demands for Quality of Service(QoS) management in digital home network.There are many problems of traffic management in existing QoS architecture,such as low priority traffic starvation,congestion and priority designation.Through the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of existing QoS architecture,this paper proposes a network QoS algorithm based on home gateway.This algorithm solves these QoS problems from a traffic management point of view,using bandwidth control,admission control and priority verification.The analysis of simulation results validate the feasibility of this QoS algorithm.

摘要: 家庭网络中数字家电种类繁多,而且随着多媒体设备越来越多、功能越来越强,对服务质量(QoS)管理提出了更高的要求。现有的QoS架构中存在很多流量管理方面的问题,如低优先级流量饿死、拥塞、流量优先级指定等。通过分析比较各种QoS架构的优缺点,提出一种数字家庭网关上的网络QoS算法。采用带宽控制、准入控制、优先级验证等机制,从网络流量管理角度解决QoS问题,并通过模拟分析证实了该QoS算法的有效性。
