Abstract: ODMRP protocol is an on-demand multicast routing protocol in Ad hoc network.. This paper presents the On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol with Link Status Forecasting (LSF-ODMRP ). LSF-ODMRP introduces link status forecasting technique to reduce the routing failure number and packet delivery delay, and improves the performance of networks with a small increase of protocol overhead. At the same time, LSF-ODMRP reserves the key merits of ODMRP such as high throughput and energy efficiency in conditions with frequently changing topology. We evaluate LSF-ODMRP performance with ODMRP for Ad hoc networks via extensive and detailed simulation.

摘要: ODMRP协议是无线自组网环境下的一种按需式组播路由协议。本文提出了一种基于链路状态预测的ODMRP协议改进,即LSF-ODMRP路由协议。该协议继承了ODMRP协议的按需式路由发现和更新,并采用了链路状态预测机制LSF(Link Status Forecasting),大大减少了路由失效数并缩短了分组投递延迟,提高了网络性能。通过对LSF-ODMRP协议的模拟仿真实验比较,我们验证了协议的改进效果。
