Abstract

Abstract: The router usually needs to forward a received multicast packet via several different network interface. Then here comes the problem of packet duplication. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a simple and effective zero-copying buffer management scheme which can be easily implemented on the platform of IXP2400 and IXA SDK.

摘要： 当路由器接收到一个多播网络数据包时，通常需要从多个网络接口转发出去，这就需要将多播包进行复制。本文提出一个在IXP2400和IXA SDK平台下简单高效、支持零拷贝的缓冲区管理方案，有效地解决了多播包的复制问题。
