Adaptive admission control algorithm based on queues in wireless network

无线网络中基于队列的自适应接纳控制算法

Abstract: Reducing the handoff Call Dropping Probability(CDP) and increasing the number of users in wireless network without affecting the Call Blocking Probability(CBP) are the target of the Call Admission Controlling.This paper proposes an adaptive admission control algorithm based on queues,which can overcome the shortcomings that excessively deprive the channels of calls in order to decrease the CDP and that cannot increase the number of users in cells only depending on queues.Through analysis,we find that the combination of the channel-depriving method and queues method can overcome above shortcomings and achieve satisfactory effect.

摘要: 在不影响会话阻塞概率的情况下,降低蜂窝中的会话丢弃概率以及增加系统中的用户数是无线网络接纳控制算法追求的目标之一。提出了一种基于队列的自适应接纳控制算法,该算法能够克服自适应算法为获得给定的丢弃概率,导致对会话需要的信道数压缩过大而影响用户在应用级的满意度,以及仅采用队列算法无法增加蜂窝中用户数的缺点。将两者结合能够充分发挥它们的优势,采用较小的信道压缩率以及较少的队列长度同样能够达到提高蜂窝中的用户数以及降低丢弃概率的目的。通过分析计算,证明了所提算法的正确性与有效性。
