Arithmetic of applying Multi-Quadric interpolation in creating 3D continuous road surface

Abstract: In previous researches of 3-dimension visual road design or real-time simulation system,there are obvious arris in the location of transect of road model.Consequently,pavement is not a continuous surface,and there is obviously difference between model and real one.In this paper,Multi-Quadric interpolation has been applied to creating road surface date for the first time.According to strap trait of road and Multi-Quadric interpolation’ request to the interpolated date,partial-repeat interpolation and arithmetic of road surface joining has been brought forward.Morbidity of radix function matrix has been avoided and step of matrix has been controlled within appropriate range,thus,model-building of road surface at random length has been resolved completely.Road surface of the model is continuous dimensionally,and is greatly conform to the real road surface,which provided reference for designers to examine whether road-line,road surface being satisfied to vehicle kinetics.

摘要: 比较了现有的道路三维可视化设计及实时仿真系统的研究思路及方法,其路面的处理在横断面的位置无一例外的都有波折,没有形成连续的曲面,与实际的路面存在较明显的差异。有鉴于此,文章将Multi-Quadric插值方法首次应用到路面数据的插值计算,针对道路的带状特点及Multi-Quadric插值方法对数据的要求,提出了分散交叠插值然后从每次插值的路面集中选路面进行拼接的算法,避免了基函数矩阵的病态并有效控制了矩阵的阶数,从而解决了生成任意长度路面的插值计算问题,保证了三维路表曲面的空间连续性,与路面原形有着较高的符合度。为设计人员检验路线、路面是否满足汽车行驶力学以及是否适应驾驶员视觉特性提供了依据。
