Research on color image segmentation in HSV space

Abstract: This article defines a color distance in HSV space.According to the defined color distance,the objecte’s edge is detected using changed Sobel gradient operator.This mothed utilizes the image’s color information and special information.Experiments prove that this method has high capability of color distinguish.The result of segment is perfect.

摘要: 提出了一种HSV空间中颜色距离的定义,并根据定义的颜色距离,用Sobel梯度算子的变形对彩色图像在颜色分量上求出分割边界。使用了颜色信息,又结合了空间信息。实验证明该方法具有较高的颜色分辨能力和通用性,能得到较好的分割效果。
