Improved TDOA positioning algorithm for wireless sensor networks

Abstract: Aiming at the drawbacks of current TDOA positioning algorithm,this paper presents an improved algorithm.With the time difference measured at the same sensor,time synchronization of nodes is not necessary.By the rolling average method,the influence of multipath propagation and random noise is reduced.The improved algorithm does not need additional hardware,with small computational amount and high position accuracy,and possesses better practicability.

摘要: 针对TDOA定位算法存在的不足,提出了一种改进算法。采用在同一节点上测量时差的方法消除了TDOA定位算法中对节点时间同步的要求,利用滚动平均法削弱了多径传播和随机噪声的影响。改进算法无需额外的硬件支持,计算量小,定位精度高,具有较好的实用性。
