Improvement of MC method for 3D reconstructed model based on spine CT images

针对脊柱CT图像三维重构MC方法的改进

Abstract: Improving original Marching Cubes(MC) method to reconstruct 3D models with correct topological structure and fewer triangles.Solving the problem of faces ambiguity by using hyperbolic asymptote and the problem of inferior ambiguity by judging the relationship of hyperbolic asymptote on inferior parallel plane.Giving a method to avoid the computation of unnecessary triangles based on the connectivity between cubes.Finally,preserving the original topology structure and reducing more candidate triangles by using Decimation algorithm.Experiment illustrates that these improvement for original MC method can obtain satisfied results.

摘要: 对原始MC(Marching Cubes)方法存在的问题和局限进行改进,并以此为基础重构脊柱三维模型,使之满足术前分析和远程手术的要求。采用双曲渐近线判别式消除面二义性问题,利用插值函数的空间连续性解决体二义性问题。提出基于对象相关性的cube连通性判断,减少三角面片过多的问题,进一步采用Decimation算法消减面片网格。实验证明了上述改进方法的有效性和正确性,可得到良好的三维重构效果。
