有效支持拓扑控制应用的新型MAC协议

Abstract: A novel Media Access Control protocol with topology control for Ad hoc is proposed.The characteristics of the topology control algorithm are considered.Through the RTS/CTS handshake mechanism the distance of neighbors can be computed while the transmission power of data packet can be adjusted according to the topology control algorithm.In order to ensure the integrity of the information collected,a self-active algorithm is presented.Simulation results show that the new protocol supports effectively the application of topology control and provides higher space division of the network then higher network throughput and lower end-to-end delay.

摘要: 分析了无线自组网中拓扑控制技术有待解决的相关问题,提出了一种有效支持拓扑控制应用的MAC协议。该协议基于RTS/CTS机制,引入拓扑控制算法,通过收集相邻节点的拓扑控制信息,调整节点信号覆盖半径,降低节点间干扰。同时,“自激活”机制保证了节点收集到的拓扑控制信息的完整性。仿真结果表明,该协议能够有效支持拓扑控制技术在无线自组网中的应用,提升网络空分复用度,进而提高网络吞吐量,降低端到端延时。
