Research on embedded WebGIS based on progressive transmission

基于渐进式传输的嵌入式WebGIS平台的研究

Abstract: In order to satisfy real-time publication requirements of GIS spatial data in marine oberservation system,a novel incremental storage model,based on thorough discussion of models for progressive transmission of vector spatial data,adopted an variant multi-way search tree named level search tree,is introduced.In the proposed method,a classic Douglas-Peucker (DP) algorithm and a new vector height classification algorithm are adopted to retrieve spatial data with diverse resolution and then the new level search tree is introduced as the incremental data buffer storage model.Finally,vector maps are created using SVG technique.The experiments in the end also demonstrates the applicability,feasibility and efficiency of this new model on embedded WebGIS platform,and it enhances its real-time ability while saving much bandwidth.

摘要: 为满足海洋监测系统中GIS空间数据实时发布的要求,在深入讨论矢量数据渐进式传输及相关模型的基础上,提出一种新的基于多路搜索树的变种树即等级搜索树的增量存储模型。该方法运用DP算法和失高分级算法来提取不同分辨率的数据,以等级搜索树作为数据缓冲增量存储模型,采用SVG技术生成矢量地图。实验表明,该模型适用于嵌入式WebGIS平台进行矢量数据渐进式传输,可行且高效,提高了实时性,并节省带宽。
